
Greetings! On behalf of the officers and members of the Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter (BAHA) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., welcome to our virtual home. Since 2005, BAHA has been anchored in the Greater Southeast Houston area proudly serving the communities of Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pasadena, Pearland, Seabrook and Webster. It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Chapter President of BAHA for the 2017-2019 biennium.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is an organization of college educated women founded on Christian principles. We are committed to the vision of our 22 founders by sharing a common bond of sisterhood, scholarship and service. We strive to implement innovative community-based service programs through the sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

Annually, our chapter awards academic scholarships, supports artistic achievement, conducts voter education and health programs, and provides aid to international causes. We provide programs that ensure both the educational and social development of our youth through the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy (young females, ages 11-14), Dr. Jeanne Noble Delta GEMS (adolescent females, ages 15-18), and E.M.B.O.D.I. (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence, males ages 13-17). For more information, on our youth programs click here.
