Program Name: Delta Academy
The Delta Academy program is designed for females between the ages of (11-14) years old and in grades (6-8). The objective of the Delta Academy program provides young ladies with a firm structural program that will enhance their self-esteem, academic achievement, leadership skills, and cultural awareness.

This program is for young ladies in grades 9-12 (ages 14-18). The program goals are to:
*To instill in our high school girls the need to excel academically.
*To provide tools that will enable our girls to sharpen and enhance their skills to achieve high levels of academic success.
*To assist our high school girls in proper goal setting and planning for their futures - high school and beyond
*To create compassionate, caring, and community minded young women by actively involving them in service learning and community service opportunities.
Program Name: Delta Youth Explosion and Quiz Bowl
The Bay Area Houston Alumnae Chapter’s Delta Youth Explosion (DYE) consists of an African American quiz bowl competition, conference workshops geared toward youth, a college fair, talent show, an entrepreneurial showcase and lots of fun. This year, a workshop on bullying was added.
The Delta Youth Explosion is a program modeled to encourage our youth ages 11-18 to develop a positive attitude towards themselves and academic excellence, while stimulating enthusiasm about African-American history and promoting competition and good sportsmanship. This program is also designed to bring together Delta Academy and Delta GEMS along with other youth group participants from across the Southwest Region.
The DYE is held annually during the month of April.
