Financial planning, money management, consumer education, investments and employment opportunities are but a few of BAHA’s money concerns under Economic Development. Various programs that will help members and our communities to begin the journey to financial independence have been implemented by our chapter.

  • Participation in Marilyn Logan’s “Saving My $5’s” financial campaign
  • Financial Seminar for High School Students in conjunction with BAHA’s Delta Youth Explosion
  • Estate Planning/Will Writing/Medicare Education Seminar
  • Adopt-A-Black-Business initiative held each month at chapter meeting. Members receive flyers and announcements in support of black owned businesses.
  • Quarterly newsletters and monthly informational sheets at chapter meetings
  • BAHA ‘Red Pages” – A business directory of entrepreneurial offerings of goods and services provided by members of Delta Sigma Theta, Bay Area Houston chapter.
